Oil India Limited (OIL) is a Government of India–owned Maharatna public sector integrated upstream oil & gas company headquartered in Duliajan, Assam, with corporate presence in Noida and other cities. It engages in exploration, development, production and transportation of crude oil, natural gas and LPG, and contributes to downstream refining via its subsidiary Numaligarh Refinery. OIL is committed to socio‑economic development through extensive CSR initiatives—especially rural development, vocational training and skills, health care, sports promotion, art & culture, women’s empowerment, sustainable livelihood and infrastructure improvements across Assam and other operational areas in India.
